Well we are all set up for our second year at Clerkenwell Design Week and this year's show looks to be even more exciting than last yea! We 're back in the 'House of Detention', formerly Clerkenwell Prison, the venue for the Platform exhibition and we've had a great day setting up and having a wander around to see what's new. The whole area from the station outwards has a fantastic buzz about it already and there are lots of new exhibitors which we've seen setting up today, from Archie Proudfoot's beautiful signs to JamJar Lights (love #LDN).
For our part, we are focusing on 3 items from our Koteak range, all of which are made from solid reclaimed wood, with original paint colours kept to give a bright and individual style to each piece of furniture. This year we are exhibiting designs that have been inspired by the humble wooden window shutter...these are Kigoma, Arusha and Shutter.
Looking forward now to a great show and we hope to meet lots of new visitors over the next few days and looking forward to seeing some familiar faces too.
